LOLA Obituary (2005

The Girl of 13 lives - that's how we called Lola during 4 years of her struggles with Diabetes and Cushing's. Every time we were told, this is it, Lola won't survive another round of complications - She always pulled through, giving us another set of joyful months with Her. Lola had such an amazing desire to live, She showed us to never give up and keep going. She was fancy, gorgeous Polish - American Girl, bilingual and with a European passport..:) On Thursday, July 27th, Lola departed for her new adventures, leaving us heartbroken. Now she can run free of pain and limitations that She was so bravely living with for the past 4 years. She was a Big Sister to her human brother and her 4 little furry siblings Yoko, Zosia, Figa and Stephan. Words can't describe how much we miss Her. I love you Baby Girl, so, so much.
