With a warm, humorous heart and a penchant for mischief, I, KitKat Valerio Torres, also fondly known as "Vale," bid my farewell from this world on July 3, 2024. Born in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL, on March 24, 2016, I have spent a delightful 9 years in this county, spreading joy and laughter amongst my loved ones. Known for my funny, reliable, loyal, and loving nature, I have always believed in the words of Charles Dickens, “what greater gift than the love of a cat.” Admittedly, I was not employed, but my full-time job was to make life a little more exciting and a lot more love-filled for my family. My owner and best friend, Angelina Torres, can vouch for my dedication to this task. I was her confidant, her comforter, her entertainer, and above all, her most loyal friend. A cat’s love is like a James Cameron movie – it’s epic, it’s captivating, it’s a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and it leaves an indelible mark on your life. I am proud to say; I have given Angelina the best movie-like experience. I am survived by a loving family who adored me. My owner Angelina Torres, my grandmother Alma Torres, my uncles Adam Torres, and Emilio Files, my aunt Lovelia, and my great aunt Ana Torres. They showered me with love, and in return, I gave them my loyalty and a multitude of memories filled with laughter and warmth. I hope they remember me as a beacon of love and loyalty. I encourage all who knew me to share their favorite memories and upload photos to my memorial page. It may seem like a small gesture, but it will serve as a comforting reminder for my dear ones, that I lived a life full of love, joy, and countless memorable moments.
